Our accessible and comfortable rooms are 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver via the campus bus exchange and a short walk to plenty of amazing attractions.
Pacific Spirit’s affordable rooms are great for singles, couples, families, and groups. You’ll be close to attractions, by the water, and within 20 minutes of downtown Vancouver by car.
The Front Desk is open 24 hours and guests are welcome to check in any time after 3pm. Please note that from September to mid-May, Conferences and Accommodation staff are available from 7am to midnight seven days a week. Between the hours of midnight and 7am staff at the Front Desk is available for emergencies and after hours check-ins.
Rollaway beds are not provided. We have single (one bed) and twin (2 bed) rooms and cannot accommodate more guests in each room than their number of beds.
There are 2 fitness facilities centrally located on the campus, the Bird Coop and the Arc. Additionally, there is a Gold’s Gym located at the University Village. The UBC Aquatic Center offers public access to the pool at designated times for a small fee. Please refer to their website for up to date times.
Our hostel guests can purchase exclusive 1-day, 3-day, and 7-day fitness and aquatic passes at a discounted price. These passes are available at the Gage Suites hotel front desk or during your booking. For more information, please ask our front desk staff.
Laundry Facilities are available at each of our properties. Refillable Laundry cards are available at the Front Desk for a $5 deposit. Guests are responsible for the cost of each load of laundry.
Reservations should be cancelled by one day prior to your arrival date in order to avoid a one night charge. Reservations can be cancelled online by using the confirmation number you were provided with at the time of booking.
The UBC Campus is approximately 12km from Waterfront station downtown, depending on the time of day this can be between a 20 to 40 minute drive. Public Transportation to and from downtown is easily accessible from the campus.
The UBC Campus is approximately 20 km from the Vancouver International Airport, depending on the time of day this can be between a 30 to 50 minute drive. Taxis cost approximately $35 from the airport to the campus.
